Below this image is another sagittal view of the head and neck demonstrating normal anatomy of this region.rnrnMultiple steps of the laryngotracheal reconstruction procedure using a graft from rib cartilage is illustrated in graphic detail based on the operative dictation from the procedure. Each illustration provides the viewer with the surgeon's perspective of the operation at key steps during the procedure. Actual incision sites, instrumentation and operative techniques will be recreated with attention to precise details from the particular procedure and surgeon. The exhibit is both educational in its clarification of the operative details, as well as dramatic in its presentation of the appearance of the operative field.
